Renault ECU programming
 If you are looking for information on how to replace an engine ECU (ECM) on a Renault vehicle then you have found the right place! - we can reprogram secondhand Renault ECU's for re-use on cars & vans. Below you will find a selection of ECU's that we can reprogram - all by mail order! - Re-programming is done in various different ways:
 'Virginised / Self coding' - in this case the ECU will be 'Plug & Play' and will self code itself to the immobiliser system when it is first plugged in with no need for a diagnostic tool for programming keys etc.
 'Virginised / Needing diagnostic tool' - This means that when it is plugged in it will need to be 'coded' to the car with a diagnostic tool (Generally on Renaults its just the injector codes that need to be coded & can be done by most good diagnostic scanners).
 'Cloning' - In this case the original ECU for the car needs to be sent to us to transfer data onto the donor unit, when the donor unit is returned to you it will then plug in and work with no further programming necessary with diagnostic tools.
 'Immo off' - Finally an ECU can have its immobiliser removed, this is known as 'immo off' - an immo off ECU will plug straight in and work without need for programming with diagnostic tools.
