Programming
If you have an ECU problem with a Peugeot / Citroen vehicle you will be aware that the Engine ECU (ECM) and Immobiliser (BCM / BSI) are programmed to each other (Locked). A diagnostic scanner used by garages & workshops is not capable of re-programming secondhand units, however we are able to bench program (Data swap or 'clone') secondhand units enabling them to be re-used needing no further programming necessary. We stock various Peugeot / Citroen ECU's, if we don't have your unit available we offer a cloning service if you can supply a donor unit - all you have to do is simply send us your original & donor units. We also offer a Europe wide mail order service.

Peugeot / Citroen / ECU Cloning
If you have a faulty ECU (Electronic Control Unit) / Programmed component on your Peugeot / Citroen vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component and you are looking to replace the unit you may be aware that you cannot simply remove a unit from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the unit is ‘Locked’ to a different vehicles electronic / immobilizer system. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & we will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) the coding of the unit will be correct & the car will start & function as it should. Peugeot / Citroen / Immobiliser delete
If the ECU on your Peugeot / Citroen vehicle is damaged beyond repair & it is not possible to retrieve the data from it to clone onto a replacement unit or it has been lost / stolen it may be able to disable the immobiliser on your ECU thus making it ‘Free running’. Once the immobiliser has been deleted on your ECU or your replacement ECU it will then plug straight onto your vehicle & start and run correctly not affecting the central locking or mileage reading. Peugeot Citroen BSI Programming
Most Peugeot / Citroen Body Control Modules (BSI modules) are programmed to a vehicles immobiliser system & ECU and cannot be simply replaced with a secondhand unit, although most modern scanners used in garages will allow configurations to be carried out they are not able to program secondhand units to be reprogrammed – We can help! we are able to transfer data files from a faulty BCM to a donor unit enabling them to work with no further programming necessary or if required we can virginise some BSI’s for re-use, after virginising the BSI will need installing using ‘dealer tool’ We can assist with this operation if needed as we have ‘Peugeot Planet’ / ‘Lexia’ ‘Diagbox’ dealer tools. *PLEASE NOTE* It is essential to clone / virginise the BSI BEFORE fitting onto the vehicle due to the mileage data being programmed into both the BSI & the instrument cluster – If you have already test fitted a higher mileage BSI or fitted an ECU kit & spiked the mileage higher we are still able to help but we will need both the cluster & the BSI from the vehicle to perform mileage correction.

Peugeot / Citroen Instrument Cluster Programming
Most Peugeot / Citroen Instrument Clusters are programmed to a vehicles Body Control Module (BSI) system and cannot be simply replaced with a secondhand unit – The Mileage is electronically stored in both the cluster & the BSI – replacing either unit (Even temporarily for testing) Will cause the higher mileage of either module to overwrite the replaced unit. We can help! we are able to transfer data files from a faulty cluster to a donor unit enabling them to work with no further programming necessary thus displaying the correct mileage of the car *PLEASE NOTE* It is essential to clone the cluster BEFORE fitting onto the vehicle for this reason – If you have already test fitted a higher mileage cluster & spiked the mileage higher we are still able to help but we will need both the cluster & the BSI from the vehicle to perform mileage correction. Airbag ECU Crash data / Cloning
We can remove crash data from most airbag control units fitted to vehicles. Crash data needs to be removed from SRS control units after a car has had collision and a safety feature has been activated such as seat belt pre-tensioners, airbags, fuel cut-off systems etc. This usually appears as the airbag warning light being illuminated and fails to extinguish when garages try to clear fault codes with a standard diagnostic scanner. Simply remove your airbag control unit, bring it to us for stripping and re-programming.
